MAYS LANDIG – In response to the current Supreme Court decision, Atlantic County Clerk Joe Giralo will be processing the Vote-by-Mail ballots as required by New Jersey state law. Mailing of ballots will commence on Sept. 19 in accordance with State Statue NJ 19:63-9.
“The State is currently in litigation with the federal government, and at this time no one knows what the outcome will be,” Giralo said.
“Please know that our office has been working for several months to prepare for the November general election cycle,” he added. “There are three ways to vote in this year’s general election. You can choose to Vote-by-Mail, Early Vote, or vote on election day, Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2026.
Atlantic County early voting locations are listed on the County Clerk’s website at www.atlanticcountyclerk.org. The website also includes the locations of all drop boxes.
“It’s important to exercise your right to vote, no matter which method you choose to do so,” Giralo said.
Giralo also noted that each voter’s specific election day polling place will be listed on their sample ballot which they should receive in October.
