EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP – The Atlantic County Utilities Authority invites Atlantic County residents of all ages to turn trash into works of art for the 12th annual Recycled Art Contest. Participants are encouraged to craft unique pieces of art using items that would normally be thrown away or placed in the recycling bin.
Entries will be accepted at participating libraries Oct. 1-31. Winners will be selected in five categories and recognized at ACUA’s America Recycles Day celebration scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 21, at the ACUA Recycling Center in Egg Harbor Township. All entries will be on display for visitors to enjoy during the free, family friendly event.
