VENTNOR – Summer in the city is the place to be this holiday weekend when the country celebrates its 250th birthday.
Ventnor starts the holiday weekend in style Friday, July 3 with the 54th running of the Ventnor Mile Run starting at the beachfront park on Newport Avenue.
The evening includes live music with “the Voice of Ventnor” Ricky Stevens, followed by The Exceptions. Enjoy food trucks and cool crafters.
Look to the ocean at dusk for Ventnor’s fabulous fireworks display.
The action starts at 5:30 p.m. with run registrations in the Community Room behind the Ventnor City Library.
