MARGATE – The 13th annual NFI & Brown Family Golf Tournament FORE Charity held May 18 at Atlantic City Country Club was an enormous success raising more than $360,000 to benefit Jewish Family Service of Atlantic & Cape May Counties and the Marjorie & Lewis Katz Jewish Community Center.
More than 240 golfers turned out for morning and afternoon rounds of spirited play. At the end of the day, Team JFS proudly claimed the coveted tournament trophy.
“This event continues to grow each year, and our family is honored to support these two vital agencies in Atlantic County,” NFI Vice-chairman Jeff Brown said. “Our parents, Shirlee and Bernard Brown, instilled in us the value of giving back, and we are proud to carry on that legacy by supporting JFS and the Katz JCC.”
“Each year, the committee, staff and volunteers do tremendous work to ensure the golf tournament is successful,” JFS CEO Andrea Steinberg said. “The funds raised will continue to support essential programs and services provided by JFS and the Katz JCC.”

“We are deeply grateful to our naming sponsor, NFI & Brown Family, for their continued leadership and support,” Katz JCC CEO Marg Rosenblatt said. “This event would not be possible without the generosity of our sponsors, supporters and players who make it a success year after year.”
Generously supported by a contingent of companies and individuals, participants of the tournament vied for the chance to win a BMW X3 provided by Turnersville BMW or a Jeep Wrangler from Burlington Auto Group for a hole-in-one promotion.
After a day of friendly competition, attendees gathered for a celebratory dinner reception and awards ceremony.
