VENTNOR – Mayor Tim Kriebel and members of the Police and Fire departments will be hosting a series of neighborhood conversations focused on public safety and quality of life issues in specific neighborhoods.
These informal public listening sessions will allow residents to provide input on quality of life matters and public safety in their neighborhoods.
The meetings are intended solely for information gathering purposes, and no formal action will be taken. The listening sessions do not constitute a meeting of the governing body as only the mayor, who is the Commissioner of Public Safety, and public safety officials will be in attendance.
Information gathered at the meetings will be shared with the full Board of Commissioners at a future public meeting.
The sessions include updates on police, fire and lifeguard operations, followed by open discussion on traffic, parking and neighborhood quality of life concerns.
The meetings are intended to be open conversations where residents can ask questions, share concerns, offer suggestions, and discuss issues.
- Ventnor Heights – Saturday, May 30, at the Titus Field Recreation Office
- North Beach Ventnor – Saturday, June 20, at the Library Community Room
- Downbeach Ventnor – Saturday, July 25, at the Library Community Room
All sessions will be held from 10 a.m. to noon. Light refreshments will be served.
